Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria Canada Calgary Chapter is a non-profit and non-political organization established to support and unite the Akwa Ibom community members residing in

It was established on January 20, 2010, by Akwa Ibom Students on Information Technology (IT) studies and their families. The aim is to provide support, unity, and a sense of community among the Akwa Ibom community members living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The association is open to individuals (and their spouses) from Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Some of the activities involve organizing cultural events, educational programs, and social gatherings such as picnics, meet and greet, Christmas parties, gala/fundraising nights, and other community service initiatives to promote the interests and well-being of its members.
